Scientific Name: Chaetodon ornatissimus
Reef Compatibility: With Caution
Minimum Tank Size: 75 gal
Max Size: 5”
Notes:Occur in clear waters and coral-rich areas of lagoon and seaward reefs. However, only common in seaward reefs. Juveniles are solitary, living among branching corals, while adults are almost always in pairs and are home-ranging. Feed exclusively on coral tissue therefore is not a good choice for a beginner aquarist and is considered difficult to keep and feed, and is suggested for advanced aquarists only. Along with their diet of Coral, you can also try to feed them a carnivorous diet, consisting of finely chopped meaty foods like Shrimp, Krill, Crustacean Flesh, and Squid.
